night and lights
One of my favorite nights was one I spent with my sister Alison. (who is in AFRICA for peace corps).. We went for a dinner at our favorite Mexican hole in the wall restaurant in Pasadena then to a movie across the street. As we left the movie theater we heard this AMAZING live salsa music blasting across the way. So we headed in the direction of the vibrant energetic music and found a LIVE acoustic band playing at the end of the alley. It was situated right next to the cutest little Mexican cafe/ bakery called ZONA ROSA CAFE. There were random wood benches and chairs filling the alley way. They decorated with outdoor lights and colorful flags from wall to wall. People and children danced and swayed about as they enjoyed the amazing transformed space. We sat down in the middle of this life radiating scene and embraced the wonderfulness of the night and lights....
