I love the bead work at the top and sleeves on Eve Arden in At the Circus (1939)
Gloria Swanson in this photo that is so romantic yet speaks of complication..
Ii am inspired by the wall paper and tiles. These patterns would be great embroidery and bead work designs. The ARMANI dress is inspriation for the pant- I love the multi color and shine in it, the uneven weave and texture would be amazing!
Seeing the tears all together I had to draw it out and get it on paper. When I have an idea or a vision of what I want something to look like, I just tape the magazine tears into my designers journal and then sketch up a storm! Its so fun to dream a creative dream!:)
I love the intense bejeweled byzantine inspired pre fall collection by Chanel. I would combine the delicate whimisical romantic beading of Glorial Swanson's dress with the stain glass manicured over sized jewels, add some wall paper and tile inspired embroidery and you've got one over the top amazing shirt! Pair it with some high waisted multi color, varigated tweed 70's inspired pants and your ready for a day full of blithe and bliss!
Have a dreamy day and enjoy your pondering!
